A place for learning, growth, play & connection.
We are a Montessori/Reggio-inspired learning center, with a twist of traditional learning incorporated into our programs. Our playroom has centers for open-ended play, creativity, building, imaginative play, climbing, and jumping, while our sensory room serves as a low-light, low-stimulation room for learning, exploration, and regulation. The sensory room is our primary classroom, serving children aged 0-11 years.
Meet the vargas family
Meet the Vargas Family. The reason & inspiration behind Scout’s Haven is rooted in community and the need for safe, comfortable places for families to connect, drop off their children for a few hours to learn & play. If you’ve ever come in, there’s a 99.9% chance you’ve met the owner, Sara Vargas, as she is the primary educator, curriculum developer, marketing manager, designer, care attendant, and so on and so forth. Chris Vargas is our weekend handyman, often in on the weekends, fixing things, putting together toys, or helping clean.

Our playroom has spaces for play & learning to accomodate ages 0 - 11 years of age. One of our favorite compliments is when parents can’t believe their older child played happily for so long with all of our explorative, learning through play areas, or when their crawlers- early walkers can comfortably play in our playroom because of our padded floors.
